The following services are now available at our Crosscare centre in Blanchardstown:

Living Well with Arthritis – Arthritis Self- Management Course
Do you have arthritis ?  ..then this programme by Arthritis Ireland is designed for you, to put you back in charge of your life and improve your sense of well being.  Beginning Monday 1st Feb 7pm – 9.30 pm at Crosscare Blanchardstown.  Contact 6470206 to book a place.  Cost €20 for six sessions each Monday through to March 8th.

Crosscare Disability Awareness Programme - Social ActivitiesSafeTALK Suicide Alertness Training

SafeTALK is a half day training programme in suicide alertness organized by the National Office of Suicide Prevention.  The course  helps  you learn basic steps to recognize persons with thoughts of suicide and link them to support services.

ASIST Suicide Prevention Course

(Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) January 19th & 20th  - 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Crosscare Drug and Alcohol Programme: Counselling service 
Crosscare Drug and Alcohol Programme has launched a free counselling service.  This one-to-one counselling service is available to people over 18 years of age with any concerns arising from drink or drug use. If you are concerned about your own substance-use or about drink or drug-use by another person, this service is open to you.  Counselling is available in Crosscare Blanchardstown by appointment and is provided free of charge by 3rd & 4th year Student Counsellors.  Call 8360911 to book or log onto www.drugs.ie.

Community Meeting RoomFree, Confidential Information Service

Monday 2.00 pm – 4.00 pm  Crosscare Blanchardstown.  Information on a broad range of issues including social welfare entitlements, health board payments, accommodation, emigration or immigration related queries.  Confidential, Walk In Service – available to all. Support Service for Parents
Are you a parent caring full time or part time for a child who may have a special need, a disability or long term illness ?  You are welcome at our Drop In Coffee Break on Thursday 28 January at 3.00 pm – 4.00pm. to meet other parents .

Crosscare Gifts for Good Shop. 
Thanks to your generosity we raised €3,000 at our Christmas Sale Days towards our work with people who are out of home.  We have recently opened a Gifts for Good Shop at Cathedral Street Dublin 1 which will be open year round Tuesday–Saturday 10 am – 6pm
