We provide many different community services throughout Dublin North & Maynooth.
Our Community Centre on Main Street on Blanchardstown is a place for people to get support and help with any difficulties that arise in their lives. The Community Centre hosts a number of Crosscare and external support services which give the local people an opportunity to access the support that they require.
The Community Centre aims to help those in need of assistance by helping them to find a solution or service that can best assist them in their local area. People may be referred to a service provided by Crosscare in Blanchardstown or to another local service depending on the query. The centre hosts a range of Crosscare services: Teen Counselling, Carer Support Services, Community Food Bank, Drug and Alcohol Counselling Support, Disability Support Services, and Befriending Services. The counselling rooms and meeting room facilities enable other local groups to provide supports to the community – these include Gamblers Anonymous, Aware Life skills, Arthritis Ireland, SASSY (Substance Abuse Service Specific to Youth) and CURA. The centre is supported by a team of 40 volunteers. TUS, and Community Employment participants.
