Young Peoples' Services Young Peoples' Services

The project is centered around a structured, , skill enhancing support centre. We offer our young people a variety of support options, inclusive of a wide range of sports & leisure programmes, literacy, lifeskills , social networking, individual tutoring , computer skills and support and guidance through third level education.

We aim to deliver programmes that will enable young people to return and remain in education and training. These group and individual activities are run in tandem with external counselling & family/peer support.

Young Peoples' Services We have an active policy of harnessing and developing skills. All young people give a commitment to attend the service through a contract agreement. We aim to provide young people with structure, support and advocacy. Staff are available to respond to emergency situations. YASS offers young people aged 18 to 23 years a long term support package encompassing all facets of their lives. Every young person is assigned a case worker to assist and develop strategies for ongoing support and development.

This service is actively involved in supporting parents and carers of young people. Staff are accessible on a daily basis. Staff are available to advise and advocate on behalf of the young people and their families, whatever the situation or setting. Staff are in regular contact with all agencies working with young people. We offer young people with drug / alcohol addiction issues external programmes of support if they are willing to address these issues.
